Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - (Cheap Web Hosting Directory) - November 22, 2005 - A new photo gallery tool has been launched by 1&1 Internet, Inc., which gives users a fast and easy way to load, organize, edit and publish digital photographs online.

The 1&1 Photo Gallery is being included at no additional cost with the company’s shared hosting plans.

The new tool was developed in-house by 1&1’s software engineering team. 1&1 Photo Gallery requires no programming experience. Users simply select from an array of provided photo album schemes, colors and layouts. Once uploaded, photos can then be enhanced with captions, descriptions and other effects like musical backgrounds and a slideshow presentation with user-adjustable transitions. Photos can also be moved between more than one album.

The 1&1 Photo Gallery also offer users the ability to share photo albums universally or to create password-protected access for selected viewers. Once inside, visitors will not only see photos in standard thumbnail and full screen modes, but will also be able to customize them with crop, edit, print and save functions. With the ‘Tell a Friend’ feature users can invite friends directly through email with links to individual photos or entire albums.

1&1 customers using the company’s comprehensive new WebsiteBuilder design software can seamlessly integrate 1&1 Photo Gallery into their site thanks to automatically matching layouts. In addition, 1&1 Photo Gallery can be combined with other page building applications such as Frontpage or Dreamweaver.
