Cologne/Germany, June 30, 2005 - CM-AG has developed the new T-Online Media Center based on its highly scalable CM4all Technology, the same technology that has formed the basis of the successful T-Online homepage products since early 2003.
The T-Online Media Center offers its users a data storage facility especially optimized for securing and managing digital photos. Within the Media Center, photos can be edited without additional photo processing software via an integrated online image editor. It provides functions such as altering picture size and cropping, filtering out “red-eye” effect, and adjusting photo brightness and sharpness. The optimized photos can then be assembled into individually designable slide shows or photo albums, which are likewise retrievable at any PC with Internet access. Via issuance of password-protected access rights, users can authorize third parties - like collegues, friends or family members - to process and retrieve files.
A broad range of other file formats can also be secured within the Media Center. The documents filed are protected by high security measures on the T-Online servers, as well as by encoded transmission paths. To use the Media Center, no special software is required. User prompts and all key functions are patterned after those of other drives (copying, deleting, renaming), making for extreme ease-of- operation even by inexperienced users.
T-Online tariff customers receive the Media Center with 50 MB as an included service at no extra charge at www.t-online.de. Storage capacity can be further expanded for an additional amount per month.
