Thanx for explaining. Not many people are aware of SSL certificates. Lo of times we find expired certificates on websites. Is it safe to transact on these websites? I have got mixed reactions from people regarding this.

Thanks for the write-up guys.

What would be great also is an article also on adding the SSL using a WHM/Cpanel setup, all the ones i have found have outdated screenshots or quite confusing about signing the cert and how to go about adding it to WHM and the domain.

The whole process seems to require a touch of voodoo to get the thing added correctly “and” not show some sort of error in browsers.
