Joint certification recognizes Data Return as leading provider of managed hosting services

DALLAS (December 17, 2003) Data Return, LLC, a leading tier-one provider of complex managed hosting, today announced its joint recertification in the Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and Hewlett Packard SP Signature Certified Partner programs. The certifications represent the respective companies’ highest level of certification for hosting services.

Data Return first achieved Microsoft Gold Certified status in Hosting & Application Services in 2002. The certification recognizes service providers that have demonstrated a capacity to deliver a consistent, high-quality hosted service built on Microsoft technology.

SP Signature Certification is Hewlett Packard’s highest level of SP Certification, which Data Return has held since the program’s inception. Data Return successfully passed HP’s comprehensive end-to-end on-site review of its managed hosting services. The HP review focuses on people, process, technology, and the ability to consistently deliver to a defined standard based upon industry best practices. The following domains of the IT infrastructure were assessed: IT service management, network, application and database, system software, hardware, and environment.

Both Microsoft and HP’s programs are based on ITIL standards, and the companies have collaborated on the joint certification methodology and extensive on-site assessment process.
