The acquisition provides GeoTrust withindustry-leading smart card solutions; a state-of-the-art data center that isfully compliant with the German signature act; and 3,500 customers acrossGermany and Europe, including major financial and industrial organizations aswell as government and public authorities.

Additional GeoTrust solutions, which will be marketed by TC TrustCenter, include managed security services for large enterprises; web security services for hosting providers; identity verification services to confirm the identity of businesses, individuals and web sites; and digital signing services for documents and code.
