June 29, 2005 - Dotster today announced that it will be offering four new country code top level domains for registration. The domains are available for registration immediately at www.dotster.com. The four new top level domains are: .LA, .SC, .VC, and .HN.

According to Dotster, since the extensions are newly available for public registration, availability is wide open. It is estimated that thousands of domain names with the new extensions are available right now.

Dotster provided the following information regarding the new top level domain names:

.LA - The .LA extension was originally created for the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. However, now that it’s available for public registration, .LA is the perfect extension to provide an online presence in Los Angeles, Louisiana, Latin America and more. Register your .LA domain name today for just $34.99 per year.

.SC - Originally created for Seychelles, a small island in the Indian ocean, this domain extension is now open for public registration. Availiability for .sc domains is incredible. Reserve yours while it’s still available. .SC domains are also available for $34.99 per year.

.VC and .HN - These extensions are also now avilable for public registration. Availability is wide open. If you can’t find a good .com, check out one of these extensions and the domain is almost sure to be available for registration.

Dotster had previously announced last week that it has signed on as a distribution partner for a new webmaster and small business search engine, www.webmaster911.com. The new service developed a distribution relationship with Dotster to distribute the search results directly to businesses who are looking for online services via the Dotster online network. It is estimated that millions of page views per month will be delivered through the Dotster relationship.

Gordy Seeley, Director of Advertising with Dotster summed up the new Webmaster911.com search directory service this way: ”Not only does Webmaster911.com give us an extremely easy-to-use tool for providing our small business customers and the visitors to our network with access to products and services complementary to our own offerings, it creates an additional revenue stream for us as well”.
