Bellevue, Wash., July 20 /PRNewswire/ — eNom, Inc. (http://www.enom.com) has recently been granted full accreditation by EURid, the official registry for .eu domain names, to offer the new .eu domain names on its world-famous domain provisioning system.

The .eu domain is projected to be one of the hottest domain extensions with an anticipated sunrise period coming near the end of 2005. The sunrise period, which is actually in two-phases, allows for those entities with a prior rights claim to their domain name to register it before .eu goes live for general registrations. eNom will be offering a pre-registration queue for this sunrise period, leveraging their size and advanced technology allowing registrants the best possible opportunity to secure the domain name they need. The queue will be submitted to EURid on a first-come, first-served basis.

”Our successful experience in the past with sunrise periods will provide a valuable knowledge base helping our customers secure their domains. As always, we will provide world-class, easy-to-use tools during the pre- registration process,” noted Paul Stahura, CEO of eNom.

The pricing, sunrise information and pre-registration details will be made available shortly. Interested parties are encouraged to continue viewing the eNom website for further announcements.
