An estimated 2.5 million plus visitors per month, access Colorado.gov and will now be able to search the state’s web site with Google’s leading search engine technology. Google will enable users to find more accurate search results, typically in less than a second. Representative Bill Cadman, Chairman of the Colorado Statewide Internet Portal Authority offered, ”The Google upgrade at www.colorado.gov is another step forward in increasing access to Colorado government and the electronic services it has to offer,” said “Google now enables Colorado citizens to accurately find government information and services with a click of their mouse.”

Colorado.gov is the official web site of the state of Colorado and a collaborative effort between the Statewide Internet Portal Authority and Colorado Interactive to help Colorado government entities web-enable their information services. Colorado.gov was built and is operated by Colorado Interactive, a Denver-based subsidiary of eGovernment firm NIC (NASDAQ: EGOV).
