San Francisco-based hosting web provider Hostito (hostito.com) announced that it has increased the disk space offered under its web hosting packages, doubling the amount offered in most cases.

Also included were increases in e-mail accounts, ftp accounts, e-mail lists, and other features.

“Passing on the benefits of our consistent growth to our customers is one of our primary objectives,” said Andres Figari, co-Founder of Hostito. “By increasing our disk space allocation without raising prices for the second time this year, we are demonstrating once again that we are committed to providing affordable, powerful web hosting.”

According to the company, its Starter package doubled from 500MB to 1000MB, Basic package doubled from 1000MB to 2000MB, Advanced package doubled from 1500MB to 3000MB, and High Volume package increased from 3000MB to 4000MB. The disk space for all four packages was previously doubled nine months prior, in February, 2004.
