Chicago, Illinois - (Cheap Web Hosting Directory) - June 21, 2006 - Web hosting and managed technology services company, Hostway Corporation, has appointed Donald K. Eldert as the company’s first Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Eldert, 47, joins Hostway from Bayer AG, where he served as CFO of Bayer Health Care’s Diabetes Care Division, a $1 billion dollar global medical device manufacturer.

As CFO, Mr. Eldert will lead Hostway’s worldwide finance organization and have responsibility for all aspects of Hostway’s accounting, financial planning, treasury, tax and audit functions. Mr. Eldert will be based in the company’s Chicago headquarters and will report to Lucas Roh, the company’s CEO and Founder.

Mr. Roh offered, ”Hostway is poised for continuing global growth. Don’s extensive operational and financial management experience makes him an ideal addition to the Hostway leadership team. His thorough understanding and deep expertise in finance, operations and business strategy gives him a unique ability to contribute to Hostway as we expand our portfolio of Internet-based services businesses in various international markets.”

As CFO for Bayer Health Care’s Diabetes Care Division, Mr. Eldert led a series of business initiatives that successfully repositioned the division for sustainable market growth. Before joining Bayer, Mr. Eldert was Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management at NiSource, a diversified and integrated energy distribution and service company. He also held various senior management positions at FMC Corp. and Amoco Corp. (BP) where he was a group controller and marketing manager.

Mr. Eldert received his bachelor’s degrees in accounting and agribusiness from Illinois State University where he graduated Magna cum laude. Eldert is also a CPA and CMA and holds a Master’s degree with a concentration in Management Strategy and Finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Mr. Eldert resides in Munster, Indiana along with his wife, Robin and their five children.
