Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Launch Events to Include Centrify

Mountain View, California - (Cheap Web Hosting Directory) - February 7, 2006 - Leading provider of solutions that securely integrate non-Microsoft platformswith Microsoft Active Directory management services, Centrify Corporation, has announced itsparticipation in the nationwide Microsoft Windows 2003 R2 Launch events.

Forthe next three months, in more than 30 cities to an expected total attendeebase of more than 3000 IT professionals, Centrify will demonstrate theextension of Microsoft Active Directory to UNIX, Linux, and Mac platforms andnon-Microsoft web applications.

According to the company, by combining Centrify DirectControl and thenew Active Directory Federation Services of Windows Server 2003, organizationswill have cross-platform web single sign-on and be able to streamline theintegration of partner, vendor and customer identities.

David McNeely, Director of Product Management of Centrify said, ”We are pleased to be participating in and sponsoring more of these Windows Server R2 launch events around the country than any other partner. Customers are enthusiastic to learn that the powerful identity management and UNIX interoperability capabilities of R2 can be extended to their non-Microsoft systems and applications.”

The cross-country launch events feature the identity management, UNIX interoperability, branch office, and storage management functions of Windows Server 2003 R2. Centrify is highlighting how DirectControl further extends the value of ADFS to non-Microsoft server platforms, and seamlessly integrates UNIX, Linux and Mac systems into the Windows 2003 R2 Active Directory security infrastructure. The events are free to attendees.
