New York, New York - (Cheap Web Hosting Directory) - March 22, 2006 - Performance marketing network firm, MIVA, Inc., has entered into an exclusive partnership with desktop search tool Watson creator, Intellext.

Al Wasserberger, CEO of Intellext commented, ”With a goal of delivering the best, most relevant content, it is critical to have an independent partner like MIVA that doesn’t compete with us for users, but instead is focused solely on helping Intellext to monetize our user base and enhance the user experience. With MIVA’s pay-per-click and pay-per-call Ads, which let our users choose how they want to interact with relevant businesses, we are more strongly positioned to achieve our growth goals.”

According to Intellext, Watson identifies content a user is referencing in applications, such as Word and PowerPoint, and automatically finds contextually relevant information from the Web, emails and files. With the MIVA relationship, Watson users will now be provided with contextually relevant ads. MIVA’s advertising network benefits by having ads automatically delivered to prospective customers with high conversion potential, at the precise moment the information is most relevant to them. MIVA’s pay-per-click ads will be immediately available to Watson users upon launch with pay-per-call ads expected to be available in Q2.

Seb Bishop, Chief Marketing Officer of MIVA added, ”Our partnership with Intellext further extends MIVA’s reach into the growing desktop search space, enabling us to introduce our advertisers to a greater variety of Internet users. We believe Watson’s method of retrieving information from different sources is a perfect fit with MIVA’s philosophy of allowing our advertisers to reach the right people at the right time, regardless of what they are doing on their computer.”
