Mondosoft and cScape Create Valuable Website Building Solution for Small and Medium Businesses

Joint Venture Develops Content Management Wizard for CMS SE

Palo Alto, California. November 26, 2003 – Mondosoft has announced that a new Wizard application, destined to transform the way small and medium businesses (SME) use the internet, will be available on December 2, in conjunction with the release of Microsoft’s new Content Management System Standard Edition (CMS SE).

Until now, CMS-managed sites have been extremely expensive to build and maintain and could only be built by someone with technical skills. The Wizard, jointly-developed by Microsoft Gold Partner cScape Ltd (London) and Mondosoft (Palo Alto, California and Copenhagen), provides a cost-effective way to build and maintain a professional website without the need for any training in web development.

Content management systems enable organizations to have a continually current information channel, communicating up-to-the-minute developments to customers, the media and the public. Historically, custom CMS sites have been expensive to implement, costing from $120,000 to $420,000 to set up. Because few smaller organizations can afford such cost, a large section of the business community was excluded from effective e-strategy and marketing. The Wizard allows those with no technical skills to create a professional content managed website from scratch within minutes.

“Content Management is no longer exclusively for large enterprises. Small and medium-sized businesses can now benefit from a proven CMS system that allows publishing and managing of information to be a much more simple endeavor,” says Laust Sondergaard, CEO and President of Mondosoft. “We have made search capabilities available with the Wizard, because our experience shows that search is a vital part of managing content – especially from an end-user perspective. We’re looking to make life on the Internet better and easier, and this project aligns very well with that objective.”

Designed to plug into Microsoft’s new CMS SE and including a Mondosoft search engine, the Wizard will retail at $3,365.

Small charities which require a content managed site will receive a substantial discount on Microsoft’s CMS SE product. The Wizard is available through www.mcmswizard.com, which is also the support site for the product.

An enhanced version of the Wizard is being created specifically for web development agencies as a core solution to build on and enhance for clients seeking a more sophisticated web presence. This version will be released in 2004.
