Limassol, Cyprus - (Cheap Web Hosting Directory) - February 7, 2006 - A new multilingual search engine has been accepted by the new European Alternative Dispute Resolution Center to arbitrate legal matters that may arise in the allocation of the new .EU address.

The search engine was developed by IceWarp Software Ltd., makers of the popular and globally deployed Merak E-mail Server Suite.

Ladislav Goc, President of IceWarp commented on the news, ”Because there are up to 20 different official languages in the European Union, the challenge facing the ADR was to find a common ground for resolving disputes in a manner that does not make language an issue.”

The new ADR Center for .EU domains is managed by the Czech Arbitration Court seated in Prague, Czech Republic. The establishment of the new ADR Center was assisted by an international team of legal experts lead by CEAG (www.ceag.biz).

According to the company, IceWarp had to deploy a multilingual support engine that could easily assimilate and allow translations from all the other official languages of the EU to be displayed side by side and corrections implemented on the fly without the need for sophisticated technical support. The new system allows all versions to be implemented and changed in a simple operation whenever a change occurs in the master language.

The company will present its work to date at the upcoming Center for International Legal Studies in Steamboat Springs, on February 16, 2006.

Mr. Goc added, ”Anything to do with the Internet immediately takes on an international context, and we need to forge close working relationships with all the entities involved in maintaining this facility. The public part of the web site in all of the European languages was implemented in a two week period with no programmers involved and the system is now functional.”
