The ‘dotmobi’ domains will be available from NewBay beginning in August 2006.

The ‘.mobi’ domain is specifically targeted at mobile friendly websites and is set to become the standard for mobile Internet consumer browsing. Once launched, FoneBlog users will be able to buy the domain name www.johnsmith.mobi, where they can store images, contacts and content and share their personal websites with other internet and mobile users.
