12 Million Domains Managed By UltraDNS Receive Added

Verio, a subsidiary of NTT Communications and a leader in managedhosting solutions, today announced IPv6 Gateway Services will beprovided to Internet access customer UltraDNS, a leading provider ofmanaged DNS services. The company currently manages more than 12million domains, representing approximately a 20 percent share of theglobal domain market. The IPv6 services UltraDNS provides to itscustomer base expand beyond the United States, reaching to Hong Kongand London, making IPv6 an option for international customers.

Novosad continued to explain that IPv6 promises easier administration,tighter security, greater mobility and superior reliability, alongsidethe ultimate benefit of an enhanced addressing scheme over IPv4. It isthese types of services the company’s customers were demanding, andwere ultimately provided by Verio.
