Scottsdale, Arizona - (Cheap Web Hosting Directory) - September 28, 2006 - Website hosting and domain registrar company, GoDaddy.com, is expanding options for its dedicated server customers by adding an Assisted Service Plan, developed as a professional solution, without traditional costs.

The GoDaddy.com Assisted Service Plan was developed for customers requiring a dedicated server, but lack the time or technical skills to administer it effectively. This service from GoDaddy.com provides a level of support customers need to quickly get their server up and running. With the plan, Go Daddy’s professional system administrators will address needed patches, backups, monitoring and vulnerability assessments.

Bob Parsons, Founder CEO of GoDaddy.com remarked, ”Our Assisted Service Plan brings Go Daddy’s experience and credibility as a top hosting provider into reach for a new range of customers. By helping our customers who need a dedicated server but want someone else to manage it, Go Daddy is responding to their needs with a simple, affordable solution.”

Customers can get the power of a dedicated server without having to perform all of the administrative tasks associated with an unmanaged account such as server startup, patching and anti-virus protection. Add-on services, with the purchase of a service contract, include security scans, backup and recovery, monitoring and escalation management, at no additional fee. Custom engineering options are also available, billed at a flat hourly rate.

The plan can be added to qualified dedicated hosting accounts during the purchase process. While users are provided with a basic startup environment, Go Daddy can also assist customers who have special needs. As with all dedicated servers accounts, customers can choose from a wide range of options including operating systems, RAM, hard drives, processors and firewalls. In addition, as with all Go Daddy services, the plan is backed by Go Daddy’s fanatical 24/7/365 customer support.

Go Daddy is a leading provider of services developed to enable individuals and businesses to establish, maintain and evolve an online presence. Go Daddy provides a variety of domain name registration and web site hosting services, as well as a broad array of on-demand and other services. The Go Daddy Group is the world’s largest domain name registrar, with approximately 14.6 million domain names under management as of June 30, 2006 and North America’s largest shared web site hosting provider. During the final six months of 2005, The Go Daddy Group registered approximately one-third of all domain names registered in the top five generic top-level domains, or gTLDs, including .com, .net, .org, .biz and .info.
