Hawaii Department of Labor Extends Contract with Web Hosting Company NaviSite

NaviSite (www.navisite.com), a provider of web hosting and application services, announced on October 27, 2004 that the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations for the State of Hawaii has extended its application management and professional services agreement with NaviSite. The company manages Hawaii’s workforce management software America’s One Stop Operating System, which assists state and local workforce agencies in meeting the requirements of the evolving Workforce Investment Act of 1998. NaviSite has provided hosting and managed services for the software, which resides in Hawaii’s data center in Honolulu, since 2001.
Denis martin, chief technology officer for NaviSite, said that the company was both very pleased and honored to be chosen to continue the work it had begun with the State of Hawaii. He added that it indicated the joint success of the company’s and the state’s efforts to this point in helping to implement and manage the AOSOS application.
