According to WestHost, the game currently has 12 levels, although more may be added (if anyone beats it). The player takes the role of a starship fighter destroying asteroids representing the “perils of web hosting” (downtime, spam, no support, etc.).

The game currently offers coupons at a number of level completions for discounts, free domain registrations, waived setup fees, free hosting and more. Coupons will probably continue to change and improve. The top score of each month will get 1 year of free hosting. Runners up will get one free month.

WestHost plans to keep “Host Wars” for at least the next few months and will continue to improve it. Depending on the popularity, we may add more games that we’ve thought about.
