Search Engine, Answers.com, Acquires Former Merrill Lynch Analyst

New York, New York - (Cheap Web Hosting Directory) - July 27, 2007 - Answers Corporations’s search engine, Answers.com, has assigned Bruce D. Smith, as its Chief Strategic Officer. The promotion responsibilities will include driving corporate direction, strategic development and M and A, and communicating with the investment community.

Bob Rosenschein, CEO of Answers Corporation explained, ”As Chief Strategic Officer, Bruce will play a key role in ensuring that both our short and long-term goals are realized. Prior to joining Answers Corporation in July 2005, Mr. Smith was both a sell-side analyst covering the Internet industry at Merrill Lynch and Jefferies and Company, and a buy-side analyst covering the technology industry at Morgan Stanley. In these capacities, he was actively involved in the explosive growth during the early days of the Internet. Mr. Smith was widely quoted in many news publications including the Wall Street Journal, Business Week and The New York Times. He also appeared frequently on CNBC, CNNfn and Bloomberg.
