The Go Daddy Group, Inc., parent company of GoDaddy.com, the No. 1 registrar of new domain names, today announced the acquisition of Innerprise, a privately held company specializing in the development of information cataloging and searching software.

Go Daddy, an industry leader in new domain name registration, will integrate Innerprise’s operations into the Go Daddy headquarters in Scottsdale, Ariz. The Company will incorporate Innerprise’s search products, including Enterprise Search 2004 and Innerprise Hosted Search, into the Go Daddy product catalog, augmenting the Company’s complete line of Web development tools including domain name registration, hosting, email systems, SSL certificates, and other complementary products and services that assist customers in building and maintaining a presence on the Internet.

The Innerprise products augment Go Daddy’s Web site development tools by adding a unique search option for consumer or corporate visitors,” said Bob Parsons, president and founder of The Go Daddy Group. “This acquisition strengthens Go Daddy’s commitment to its customers to provide the best business solutions available on the market today, at prices every business can afford.”

Innerprise’s search software programs offer corporations and organizations the ability to index, catalog and search the Internet, a corporate Intranet or a corporate Web site for information valuable to their company and customers. Wells Fargo Bank and Target are among the hundreds of customers that currently utilize Innerprise’s software solutions.

Go Daddy also plans to utilize the Innerprise software as the underpinning of a new information management product line to be offered in the Fourth Quarter of 2004.
