Having previously created Host Europe PLC (formerly trading as Magic Moments Internet), in 1996, the company became one of the UK’s market leaders in web hosting for small and medium sized businesses with almost 1 million accounts by 2004. Mr. Hardoon served as CEO of Host Europe PLC until its sale to PIPEX Communications Ltd., for a record 31 million pounds in early 2004.
Daily.co.uk’s goal is to provide the following to its customers:
- High quality products
- Reliability of services
- Value for money
- Superior customer service and after sales customer care
Mr. Hardoon is a marketing graduate from George Washington University, Washington DC USA, and has over 17 years of experience in managing marketing oriented businesses. He had gained extensive experience in FMCG marketing prior to founding Magic Moments Internet, a leading Internet hosting solutions provider, in 1996. In 1999 Magic Moment Internet was listed on the London Stock Exchange.
Following the acquisition of a German hosting company, Host Europe GmbH, based in Cologne, and Webfusion Limited, a UK based host provider, Magic Moments Internet changed its name to Host Europe Plc. Host Europe grew strongly and profitably throughout the period whilst maintaining its leading position as the UK’s largest host provider through such brands as 123-reg, Magic Moments, Webfusion, Dedicated Servers and Host Europe. By 2004 Host Europe Plc had a combined annual revenue in excess of £24 million.
Mr. Hardoon served as CEO from the initial founding of the company up until its sale to PIPEX Communications Ltd for over £31 million in early 2004.
Mr. Lauder was a co-founder of Magic Moments in 1996 after leaving university early in order to join the team. He was pivotal in the development of the Magic Moments systems architecture and the management of a full development team. Over the period, Marcus also played a leading role in the development of Host Europe’s hosting systems and platform. His dedication and work was at the centre of the team that drove the core technology and the hosting solutions that were offered.
In addition, Mr. Lauder is also an avid rocketry engineer, having launched solid fuel rockets for over a decade. He helped claim the highest UK amateur launch altitude record in 2003. Mr. Lauder remained with Host Europe Plc post acquisition by PIPEX and left his post to pursue personal interests in late 2005.
