AT&T Enters Into Hosting Contract With GSI
Commerce
BEDMINSTER, N.J., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T announced
today it has
entered into a multi-year contract for hosting services
with GSI Commerce, a
leading provider of outsourced e-commerce solutions. The
contract increases
the space, power and bandwidth that GSI Commerce has available
to host
e-commerce Web sites for its customers, including retailers,
branded
manufacturers, media companies, television networks and
professional sports
organizations.
Under the contract, AT&T will provide space for GSI
Commerce servers in
its Secaucus, N.J. and Ashburn, Va. Internet Data Centers
(IDCs). AT&T also
will provide point-to-point connectivity between the IDCs
and GSI Commerce's
King of Prussia, Pa. headquarters. This networked IDC solution
provides GSI
Commerce with reliability, redundancy and scalability that
the company needs
to support its expanding e-commerce business.
