Greenwood Village, Colorado - (Cheap Web Hosting Directory) - April 26, 2006 - RE/MAX has re-designed its website to allow for on-line access to all real estate listings anywhere in the U.S.

According to the company, after eight months of technical development, the newly designed web site will feature every home for sale, no matter which company holds the listing agreement, and without any time consuming registration.

Dave Liniger, Co-founder and Chairman of RE/MAX commented, ”We said we would be doing this for the consumer and that’s what we’ve done. We have made significant financial and technical commitments to this program because it’s the right thing to do.”

Consumers may find all real estate listings for most major U.S. cities with just one click from the home page. Kristi Graning, Senior Vice President of Information Technology and eBusiness of RE/MAX added, ”The system is designed to deliver listing information to the consumer as quickly as possible, without delays from intermediary companies that require registration information and charge referral fees. We’re making sure that every piece of available technology is being used to ensure all our web site visitors have a rewarding experience every time.”

Previously, many consumers could not access local MLS listing systems, and individual real estate broker sites only feature their own exclusive listings. RE/MAX endeavors to provide all homes for sale, in all cities, for all searches.

Mr. Liniger continued, ”No longer will a consumer have to visit multiple web sites to view all properties for sale. We believe this is a great advancement and service, not only for the consumer, but for the RE/MAX organization and the entire real estate industry.”

The RE/MAX search system is fully compliant with all MLS (Multiple Listing Service) policies across the country. The new RE/MAX real estate search system is made possible through a number of strategic alliances with key technology organizations. Florida-based eNeighborhoods, a Siegent company, is instrumental to the operation of 65% of the nationwide database. An additional 27% of the system relies upon coordination with Reliance Network, Inc. The remainder of the new real estate listing search network is made possible through a variety of technology vendors, including Realtor.com.

Ms. Graning says that two thirds of the planned network is currently operational and now available to the public. She adds that the rest of the country will be phased in before the end of the year. ”When fully implemented, it will mean virtually every residential real estate listing in the United States will be available at Remax.com.”

Dave Liniger, believes that RE/MAX has again demonstrated leadership in the real estate industry by responding directly to the consumer. ”Our technology team has completed a monumental task, one of the most complicated projects we’ve ever undertaken. We believe the public will absolutely love the convenience and information now available on all real estate searches at Remax.com.”

The RE/MAX franchise network is a global real estate system, operating in 63 countries. More than 6,300 independently owned offices engage 117,600 member sales associates, providing real estate services in residential, commercial, referral, relocation, and asset management.
