Indianapolis, Indiana - (Cheap Web Hosting Directory) - August 17, 2007 - Search Engine Strategies (SES) Conference and Expo 2007, scheduled to take place August 20-23 at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, California, will feature Jeffrey K. Rohrs, Vice President of Agency and Search Marketing, of the ExactTarget firm.
Mr. Rohrs will lead multiple discussions about search engine marketing as part of next week’s premiere event for search engine marketing, providing information.
SES offers a unique setting to network with marketers and search engine industry professionals to discuss today’s trends in search engine marketing, as well as provides access to solutions providers, potential partners and affiliates. Over the course of the four-day event, Mr. Rohrs will lead eight panels comprised of experts from search engine and analytics agencies. The sessions moderated by Mr. Rohrs at SES San Jose will include: August 21, 2007 * Copyright and Trademarks: What SEMs Should Know This session covers law fundamentals attendees should know, as well as common tips and tactics needed to understand how these issues apply to free and paid listings. * Search Marketers On Click Fraud Search marketers will explore issues and tactics relating to click fraud concerns. * Search Engines On Click Fraud Search engine companies will discuss how they deal with issues related to click fraud. * Are Paid Links Evil? Attendees will evaluate whether paid links are subverting search quality. August 22, 2007 * In House: Big PPC This session will address how to approach in-house bidding wars when dealing with paid search. * In House: Big SEO This panel looks at search engine optimization problems and solutions unique to those running big companies and brands. * In House: In, Out Or In Between? Attendees will look at options to guide their decisions regarding outsourcing of internal projects. * The SEO Reputation Problem This session looks at SEO’s reputation problem and explores possible solutions.
Jeffrey K. Rohrs manages ExactTarget’s agency partner program and oversees the company’s search marketing strategies. Prior to joining ExactTarget, Rohrs served as President and Chief Interactive Strategist at Optiem, one of ExactTarget’s original agency partners. While there, he developed the firm’s search marketing practice and oversaw digital and email marketing programs for a wide range of clients including Insurance.com, Things Remembered and Sherwin-Williams.
Mr. Rohrs is well-versed in marketing law and is a regularly featured speaker on legal and emerging issues at Search Engine Strategies conferences. He was also a featured speaker at Marketing Sherpa’s inaugural Email Marketing Summit. Rohrs has been quoted on a variety of interactive marketing topics in publications including Advertising Age, Wired.com, Marketing Sherpa, Target Marketing, ClickZ, Inside Business and The Plain Dealer. He received his undergraduate degree from Miami University where he currently serves on the Advisory Board for the school’s Interactive Media Studies Program. He holds a J.D. and Masters in Mass Communication from Boston University.
