San Mateo, California - (Cheap Web Hosting Directory) - July 26, 2006 - Local classified search engine, Oodle, with its Real Estate division, has partnered with iHomefinder to offer an MLS-compliant solution for brokerages to feature listings on Oodle and across Oodle’s classifieds partner network.
According to the company, Oodle Real Estate now has over 2 million real estate listings in its search index, the largest on the Internet. Oodle Real Estate indexes listings from tens of thousands of websites, including individual agents, brokers, for sale by owner (FSBO), foreclosures as well as new homes. Oodle has also partnered with a large and comprehensive number of sites such as Real Living, Real Estate.com, Harmon Homes, Foreclosure.com, and New Home Source to bring users the largest and most comprehensive real estate search site on the internet.
The new partnership with iHomefinder is anticipated to enable brokers to easily promote real estate listings to the Oodle classifieds network. In addition to nationwide U.S. coverage, Oodle Real Estate also covers the 30 largest metros in the United Kingdom, including London, Glasgow, and Belfast. By utilizing iHomefinder’s MLS-compliant listings infrastructure, Oodle’s goal is to provide realtors and brokerages with a ”flip-the-switch” ability to promote their own listings on the Oodle network and generate leads.
Brokerages will be able to feature listings within the Oodle index by completing a free sign up with iHomefinder and receiving their MLS Board’s approval. Alon Chaver, CEO of iHomefinder explained, ”We’re thrilled to partner with Oodle to help brokerages easily promote their own listings to Classifieds on the Oodle network and generate leads back to their websites - wherever MLS boards allow the practice. Brokerages will be able to use the iHomefinder platform to upload accurate and current listings into the Oodle classifieds network with full MLS compliance.”
