Being a small business marketing consultant I am often confronted with choosing a hosting company for client sites. I’ve found several that are reputable and inexpensive. These are hostgator and bluehost. Both offer different options but if your in the business of setting up multiple sites you want to make sure you pick the right host.

Thanks for this. My server costs me a packet every month but then again I send out 200,000 emails a day to my members. I think the only reason I need such a big server package is because of the email volume. There is probably a better way.

One of the key factors for small business owners like me (who are not that tech savvy) is the back up and support when things go wrong. So while cheap webhosting is desirable I like to make sure that there is someone there for me when I mess up and I am prepared to pay a little extra for that. .-= Terry´s last undefined ..If you register your site for free at =-.

Very Good article. I have been looking for this information. Everybody with a business should do their homework before choosing a web-host.

Excellent article. One should always figure in the costs and the service level agreement along with the features needed before deciding on a provider. But costs should not be the only factor…make sure that you pick one of the biggest webhost around or their reseller.
