Today, Inflow Inc., the quality leader in IT outsourcing services, announced that it has been named a finalist in the "IT Support Services Award" category for the 2004 NCEITA 21 Awards.

Winners will be recognized at the annual gala on November 18, 2004, at the Embassy Suites hotel and conference center in Cary, N.C.

The NCEITA 21 Awards are the oldest technology awards in North Carolina and recognize outstanding contributions that information technology companies and individuals have made over the past year to the industry, community and state. Grant Thornton conducted the selection process earlier this month in collaboration with past and present NCEITA chairpersons. The awards are grouped in five categories: technology industry awards, stage of development awards, functional awards, leadership awards and excellence awards.

"The quality of the companies nominated this year is very impressive and the finalists represent a broad range of technology thought leaders across North Carolina," said Mike McGuire, Grant Thornton’s Carolinas Managing Partner. "NCEITA does an excellent job recognizing North Carolina’s technology leaders and the NCEITA 21 Awards banquet has become a highly anticipated annual event."

NCEITA also presents an Outstanding Achievement Award to an individual who has demonstrated a career-long commitment to the advancement of the IT industry. Past winners include former North Carolina State University chancellor Larry Monteith, MCNC president Bill Kress, Capitol Broadcasting president and chief executive officer Jim Goodmon, North Carolina Community College System president Martin Lancaster, SAS chairman Dr. Jim Goodnight and former governor Jim Hunt.

"We anticipate the 2004 NCEITA 21 Awards to be one of most exciting ever," said Joan Myers, president of NCEITA. "This year’s theme, ‘The Magic of Technology,’ will recognize and draw attention to the thought leaders and companies that are driving technology advancements across North Carolina."
