Scottsdale, Arizona - (Cheap Web Hosting Directory) - August 24, 2007 - Web hosting domain registrar, GoDaddy, has scheduled two special appearances for the company’s Go Daddy Girl spokeswomen, to target California race fans in Sonoma.
WWEWomen’s Champion Candice Michelle, will show support for her fellow Go Daddy Girl Danica Patrick, who races in Sunday’s Motorola Indy 300. Friday, Ms. Michelle will sign autographs and pose for photos with fans at the racetrack. Sunday, Ms. Patrick will try to become the first woman ever to win an IndyCar Series race.
Ms. Patrick remarked, ”I’ve been racing with the front of the pack and finishing stronger and stronger this season. I want to put on a great show for Go Daddy and the fans in Sonoma.”
Ms. Patrick’s year has included nine Top-10 finishes this racing season and an eighth level placement in the IndyCar Series points race. She also ranked number 69 on the Maxim ”Hot 100” list and was named America’s second favorite female athlete, behind tennis star Serena Williams.
Fellow Go Daddy Girl, Candice Michelle, has been cheering for Ms. Patrick all season, including a trackside appearance at this year’s Indianapolis 500. Friday afternoon in Sonoma, she’ll meet her fans at a GoDaddy.com booth in the vendor display area inside the Infineon Raceway. After that, she has to speed off to a WWE competition.
Ms. Michelle commented, ”I’m excited to take this time out with fans before I head off to watch a WWE match that will determine who I have to wrestle next to defend my title as the current women’s champion. The match is on the East Coast, so I’ve got to fly out before Danica’s race, but I’ll be cheering her on in front of the TV.”
Ms. Michelle took the WWE women’s championship title in June and first became famous after starring in what’s widely believed to be the most successful Super Bowl commercial of all time. Go Daddy’s 2005 ad where she has a ”wardrobe malfunction” was censored by the Fox TV network, which triggered a landslide of media coverage. She went on to star in Go Daddy’s 2006 and 2007 Super Bowl commercials and is a Playboy cover girl, as well as one of the most-searched names on the Internet.

Recently, GoDaddy combined two of its products, Quick Blog and Quick Podcast, into one simple tool, designed to facilitate daily communication systems through blogs and/or podcasts online. Warren Adelman, President and Chief Operating Officer of Go Daddy explained, ”Quick Blogcast allows people to tell their own stories with audio, video, photos and text over the Internet. It’s a great way to let people around the corner or around the world know what you or your business are doing.”
Blogging has become an increasingly popular way for people to communicate to a large audience. About 1.4 new blogs are created every second of every day, according to Technorati, a blog trend analyst that is now tracking more than 97 million blogs worldwide. According to the Pew Internet and American Life Project, most blog writers say they use a blog to document their personal experiences and share them with others. Some bloggers have even gained enough credibility to be regarded as news sources in areas like politics and technology.
Go Daddy’s Quick Blogcast was created for professionals who want to share ideas or promote companies, as well as those who want to publish text and syndicate audio or video content. For example, small business owners can use Quick Blogcast to turn their already-made videos into broadcasts that demonstrate and discuss their new products, with a text description of the products right next to the video. Teachers, motivational speakers and others can use Quick Blogcast to record and distribute lectures online.
Quick Blogcast was created, thanks to feedback from Go Daddy customers. It features more than 50 different design templates that can be modified and customized to reflect your personal taste. Quick Blogcast lets you blog remotely from your mobile phone or PDA. It gives you a way to weave in news stories and other content from ”Really Simple Syndication” (RSS) feeds. It also allows several authors to have joint access to one blog. All of these features can help even beginning bloggers to create professional-looking web logs.
Quick Blogcast may be used with a microphone and computer, to create audio recordings to share over the Internet. In addition, Quick Blogcast can also help users share home movies and videos. The videos can also be combined with a blog, so you can read about the family trip and watch the video all in one place.
