Chicago, Illinois - (Cheap Web Hosting Directory) - June 20, 2006 - Web hosting and managed technology services company, Hostway Corporation, will crown the recipients of its 4th annual ”Web Developers of The Future” award to the year’s most talented web designer among Chicago area’s high school students. The program is co-sponsored by Mayor Richard M. Daley’s Council of Technology Advisors and Junior Achievement and will take place at the Hostway Corporation Office, 1 N. State St. Suite 1200 (corner of State and Madison), in Chicago, Illinois on Wednesday, June 28, from 11 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Through this contest, students are able to hone creative and web-savvy skills by designing an entire web site completely on their own. Hostway will present the top winner a check for $1,000 and a Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop. The Runner-up will receive a check for $500 and a Dell Inspiron 6000 laptopSchools from the entire Chicagoland area participated. Competing web sites were evaluated by a panel of expert judges on content, structure, navigation, design, functionality and creativity.
First and second place winners will receive awards from the contest’s judging panel:

— Michael Krauss, Co-chair of Mayor Daley’s Council of Technology Advisors
— Lucretzia Jamison, Director of Operations, Junior Achievement/Chicago
