I would consider get a little more invested and inform myself about the rental fee for a server in a serverfarm somewhere. There I would collect a few offers and after that I’d consider if I take a reseller account or go more into depth and get myself an own Server.

Why I am saying this is, because of the costs. You have monthly costs with a reseller account and a revenue potential, and you have the same with an own server.

I suppose that reseller webhosting can be quite benificial in some situations. It also depends which provider you choose. I know that in many cases in the SEO world people choose to host on different ip adresses, because this is better for search engine optimization purposes.

However this is not possible with a reseller account. Well with most reseller accounts. But i suppose if you were serious about starting your own webhosting company then a reseller account is a good idea.

But always make sure that you don’t put all of your own websites on the same account, or the same ip adress hosted.

With some hosting companies you can even get a dedicated ip adress for a domain, but you would have to check before.
